Terms of service

Last updated October 29, 2026

These terms cover your use of CitationLeads, a service operated by ShutterReach ("we"). By using the site, you agree to them.

The service

CitationLeads organizes public OSHA enforcement records published by the U.S. Department of Labor and matches them to product categories. We are not affiliated with OSHA or the Department of Labor. The data can be delayed or incomplete, and OSHA can change it. Employers can contest citations, and OSHA can reduce or withdraw them, so a citation is not a final finding of a violation. Check the linked official record before you rely on it.

Acceptable use

Use CitationLeads for lawful business purposes, such as offering products, services or training that help employers fix workplace hazards. Don't use it to harass, threaten or defame anyone, and don't present a citation as a final finding. When you contact businesses, follow the anti-spam laws that apply to you (for example CAN-SPAM). Don't resell or republish the lists in bulk, and don't scrape the service.

Google Maps content

Inspection pages and saved leads can show an employer's phone number, website and map link from Google Maps. By using these features you agree to be bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (including the Google Privacy Policy). This content is provided by Google and isn't stored by CitationLeads.

Subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and your card statement will show ShutterReach. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change. Your founding price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the new terms. Wisconsin law governs these terms. Questions? Contact us.
